Welcome to the Thomas Stone Chapter NSDAR website. The mission of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) is to promote Historic Preservation, Education and Patriotism.

Our chapter, based in Olney, Maryland, has about 59 members, who are involved in a variety of activities, including:

• Supporting the DAR schools

• Genealogical research

• Supporting our active duty service men and women

• Honoring veterans

• Leading Children of the American Revolution groups

• Collecting, indexing and transcribing genealogical records & bible records

Special recognition to Rachel Cooper for transcribing over 100 pages.  

Our regular meetings are usually the second Saturdays of January, March, May, September and November, but we will also be participating in events at other times. We’d love to have you join us at a meeting; please contact me for the next time and location.
